Typically, this person will work in the Marine and Offshore industries servicing, repairing, overhauling, installing or commissioning large marine diesel engines. HSB Technical's client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
- Attend customers' vessels or platforms as a direct representative of the company with an ultimate focus on servicing, repairing, overhauling, installing or commissioning large marine diesel engines or generators.
- Clear and precise report writing.
- Ability to notify direct management on any further works that need to be completed.
- Prepare your jobs making sure any equipment, spare parts and documentation are ready.
- Ability to work with and manage other engineers on-site.
Ideally, you will have engine, clutch, gearbox and ancillary equipment experience.
Qualifications and requirements for the Field Service Engineer:
- Driving Licence.
- Ability to exit and enter the UK freely.
- Medium and Highspeed Engine Experience.
- UK Passport Holder.
