Position: Field Service Engineer (Marine Engines & Generators Offshore)

Typically, this person will work in the Marine and Offshore industries servicing, repairing, overhauling, installing or commissioning large marine diesel engines. HSB Technical's client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

  • Attend customers' vessels or platforms as a direct representative of the company with an ultimate focus on servicing, repairing, overhauling, installing or commissioning large marine diesel engines or generators.
  • Clear and precise report writing.
  • Ability to notify direct management on any further works that need to be completed.
  • Prepare your jobs making sure any equipment, spare parts and documentation are ready.
  • Ability to work with and manage other engineers on-site.

Ideally, you will have engine, clutch, gearbox and ancillary equipment experience.

Qualifications and requirements for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Driving Licence.
  • Ability to exit and enter the UK freely.
  • Medium and Highspeed Engine Experience.
  • UK Passport Holder.
