Key responsibilities:
- Provide high quality support in line with CQC standards
- Assist children and adults with personal care, daily living tasks and community-based activities
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their social life and skills
- Promote independence, dignity and choice while respecting the individuals' preferences and needs
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals
- Ensure all documentation, care plans and records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults in your care, following safeguarding policies and procedures
Skills and experience:
- Must have a minimum of 6 months UK experience
- Previous experience working alongside/ supporting children and adults
- Knowledge of CQC standards and the ability to adhere to them
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine desire to support others and make a positive difference in their lives
- A flexible and caring approach to working with a diverse range of individuals
- Enhanced Adult and Child DBS (or must be willing to process one with Banquo)
- Must have or be willing to work towards the Care Certificate
