We are seeking compassionate and resilient individuals for SEN Teacher / ECT positions, ready to take on a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025.

SEN Teacher / ECT – The Role:

  • As an SEN Teacher / ECT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with severe speech and communication difficulties.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Creating a structured, safe, and nurturing learning environment that promotes communication, independence, and confidence.
  • Using alternative communication methods such as Makaton, PECS, AAC devices, and visual supports to facilitate learning.
  • Building trusting relationships with students, ensuring they feel valued, understood, and supported.
  • Working closely with speech and language therapists, SEN specialists, and teaching assistants to develop targeted support strategies.
  • Fostering life skills and independence, preparing students for their transition into adulthood.
