Senior Engineer – Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) Specialist – LONDON – 6-12 month contract – £50.45 – £64.22 per hour ARM are supporting a global infrastructure client with their recruitment and we are currently looking for a contract Senior Engineer – Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) Specialist to join the team based in London. About You: You will be a chartered Engineer, ideally with training in hazardous area determination and risk assessment from a recognised body. Your experience will include a role of leading DSEAR in design delivery, ideally within the water industry, or a related process industry. You will have excellent technical knowledge of the application of DSEAR, including risk assessment and area classification in accordance with EN 60079-10 and IP 15. You will have a strong understanding of DSEAR legislation, ATEX directives and CDM. What you will be doing: This position will be support on a large workload of DSEAR in a number of markets in UK projects. You will help lead with your specialist experience within this area and bring down the backlog of work. Location: This position can be based in either Central London or the Surrey office, working on the hybrid model. The contract is expected to be a minimum of 6 months, but most likely 12 months. What you can expect in return: This position is paying between £50.45 and £64.22 per hour (Umbrella) and has been deemed inside of IR35. Max day rate of £513.76 per day.
