The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 ÂŁ per year.

Location: London Speechmark + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri Hybrid

What you’ll do

  • As Business Development Manager you will support the development of the overall Vodafone UK organic and inorganic business/corporate development strategy by identifying, considering, reviewing and recommending selected merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities and commercial partnerships.
  • You will support and manage end-to-end delivery of organic and inorganic business/corporate development projects, developing robust quantitative and qualitative fact-based recommendations/proposals for GMT review.
  • You will develop supporting business cases underpinning key organic or inorganic opportunities, including appropriate approaches for complex financial modelling, standalone valuation and synergy valuation (as necessary), considering market context.
  • You will perform comprehensive due diligence of organic and inorganic opportunities, including challenging financial and commercial information received to ensure rigour, consistency and integrity, and supervising input from external advisors.
  • You will support negotiations with counterparties on commercial organic and inorganic constructs, in addition to key deal parameters (legal, financial, operational).
  • You will remain aware of key developments in Telecom whilst actively contributing to pipeline of innovative growth ideas (organic and inorganic).

Who you are

Essential:

  • You will have experience in a similar Business Development/Merger & Acquisition position.
  • You will have strong quantitative skills and modelling capabilities.
  • You will have exposure to hands on transaction experience across M&A or Corporate Finance.
  • You will be familiar with creating clear, well formatted board level presentations.
  • You will have experience dealing with high levels of ambiguity, with a clear strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You will have strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills with key stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • You will have experience working in a Telecom/Tech sector.
  • You will have professional finance qualifications (CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
