The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Rubix have grown the engineering side of the business rapidly over the past 2 years, part of this is being involved in reliability services (condition-based monitoring). You will have a set region in which to provide services to customers which include:

  • Vibration analysis
  • Thermography
  • Oil analysis & lubrication
  • Air leak surveys
  • Remote monitoring system implementation
  • Asset surveys

You will strive to get your own work, and also work with enquiries from the sales network to advise the customer and convert into a paid job. You will also complete the advised service, and report to the customer within an agreed time frame.

You will normally work in your agreed region, but due to holiday cover, projects, large jobs etc., it may be required occasionally to work outside of said region. You will work with a reliability team leader, who will also help and advise of up-and-coming work.

Main purpose:

  • Providing reliability services to identify potential and actual production issues
  • Offering services within engineering to remedy said issues (e.g. motor repair following discovery of failing motor bearings)
  • Providing technical support to the sales network

Key tasks include:

  • Conduct reliability-based services for Rubix customer base on a chargeable basis
  • Work alongside network to develop customer interest
  • Working with colleagues to help develop new work routines, software and hardware with a view to improving available reliability services

Key results include:

  • Increasing reliability services sales revenue
  • Successful reliability projects with customers
  • Improving sales network engagement with engineering dept
