Fabulous opportunity to join an expanding business as a Production Planner. Excellent benefits including a 37 hour working week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available) and overtime is available at time and a half. 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays. 5% pension with private healthcare & 2 x base salary life insurance.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of products. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background, production scheduling, or inventory control, with a focus on maximizing operational efficiency and meeting customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure that manufacturing timelines are met and resources are optimally utilized.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment and reduce stockouts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts, adjusting production plans accordingly.
  • Ensure that the necessary materials, equipment, and labour are available to meet production requirements.
  • Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to address any potential delays or issues that may impact production timelines.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including schedules, inventory reports, and production performance data, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Ensure that all production processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Experience the Production Planner will need:
