Salary £40k - £42k + Overtime + Shift Allowance
Shifts: 45 hour week plus every other Saturday morning which is paid at time and a half. Also, opportunity to earn call out fees and call out overtime (paid at double time).

With 7 locations across the Midlands, North and North East, their reputation is built on expert service, dependable products, and a team that goes above and beyond. They’re growing their technician teams to support their busy workshops and are looking for skilled, motivated Commercial Vehicle Technicians to join them.
As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping vehicles safe, road-ready, and operating at their best. Whether you’re working with vans, HGVs or the full range, your work will make a direct impact every day. They’re currently hiring for roles in Billingham, Blaydon, Carlisle, York, Hull, Immingham and Lincoln with flexible shift options across early / lates and nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and repairs in line with DVSA standards
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and present them for testing
- Diagnose faults using industry-leading diagnostic tools
- Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
- Attend roadside breakdowns and provide offsite support where required
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a technician role
- Background in commercial vehicle or retail automotive sectors
- Main dealer experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
