The IT Administrator / Analyst supports the IT Manager in the day-to-day administrative management duties providing non-technical coordination, administration, and support to assist the department in the efficient and successful delivery of IT Services. This is a hybrid role that requires a maximum of 2 days per week on-site.
I am keen to talk to any Administrator or Analyst with experience of Asset Management, 3rd party Vendor relationships, planning, and coordination within an IT support environment - THIS IS NOT a technical support role, rather an administrative/analysis based function.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the portfolio plan, maintaining demand management/capacity
- Producing the IT Team performance pack utilizing data from various sources (internal and external)
- Supporting the IT Manager with contract and vendor management and demand management for the IT team.
Activities:
- Co-ordinates the IT portfolio of work, working with the wider IT Team
- Supports the overall management of the IT budget, including raising purchase orders (POs) and receipting of POs for the IT function and query resolution
- Produces and distributes the monthly IT performance pack - pulling together the KPIs across the various data sources
- Maintains and tracks the IT assets (software and hardware), including computers, peripherals, phones, software licenses, and other equipment, and works with IT Operations and IT Security to ensure the list is accurate
- Supports the IT Manager with supplier and contract management and provides details on supplier performance from the KPIs
- Co-ordinates the resource planning and maintains the demand management of the IT Team
- Works with Procurement, Finance, and IT colleagues to ensure new IT suppliers are smoothly transitioned in/out
This role would suit an Administrator or Analyst from an IT environment with experience of both Asset Management and 3rd party Vendors, within a commutable distance of Birmingham. IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT AN IT SUPPORT ROLE.
