Position: Consultant Ecologist
Location: Bristol
Salary: GBP28,000:GBP35,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent, Full:time
About The Role
- Deliver ecological surveys, assessments, and reports for a range of projects, including infrastructure and development schemes.
- Provide ecological advice to support planning applications, environmental compliance, and mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure high:quality ecological input.
- Contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects that have a positive impact on the environment and communities.
About You
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in ecological consultancy or environmental assessment.
- Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, protected species, and habitat management.
- Excellent communication and report:writing skills.
- A proactive, solution:focused approach to ecological challenges.
- Professional accreditation (such as CIEEM) is desirable but not essential; our client welcomes applications from those working towards qualification or with equivalent experience.
