The Dynamic Support Service is seeking a highly organised Project Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing high-level administrative and project support to senior management and project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of key projects within the Dynamic Support Arrangements and wider Learning Disability and Autism Programme Delivery Unit.

The Project Assistant will play an integral role in project management, enabling the delivery of projects in accordance with Kent County Council’s policies, procedures, and processes. This includes assisting in project planning, monitoring metrics and milestones, and providing feedback to managers. The role requires excellent communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Advanced minute-taking, Excel and Word Keyboard/IT skills are essential.

37 hours per week, 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent as required. Secondment opportunities are preferred. Internal candidates seeking a secondment opportunity should inform their line manager before applying. Mostly home-based working, with at least one day a week in the office and travel to attend meetings.
