Are you a nurturing and experienced Level 3 Early Years Educator looking to take the next step in your childcare career? We are working with a well-established nursery in the heart of Colliers Wood that is seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join their preschool team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will take on key person responsibilities for a small group of children, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in preparation for their transition to school. You will work within a warm, inclusive environment that champions a child-led approach and encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years and have at least one year of hands-on experience in a nursery setting. You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and Birth to 5 Matters, as well as the ability to observe, track, and document children's progress effectively. A confident communicator with strong written and verbal English skills is essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering stimulating activities that reflect children's individual interests and developmental needs
- Maintaining up-to-date learning journals
- Working closely with families and the wider team
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety are upheld at all times
