We are delighted to be recruiting for a part-time Duty Manager to join the Site Operations Management Team of a dynamic and growing Harbour team based around the Kent area. This permanent, part-time position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering exceptional visitor experiences and leading operational excellence. The role is contracted to 24 hours per week, worked across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility for evenings and peak periods as part of a rota.

As Duty Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring a Customer Service Team, setting high standards and delivering ongoing training to ensure consistently exceptional performance.
  • Overseeing the smooth and safe running of the site, in collaboration with the Operations Manager and the wider team.
  • Managing the opening and closing procedures for the site each day.
  • Playing a key role in the delivery of exciting, high-profile events, from unique cultural experiences to seasonal markets.
  • Working alongside internal and external security teams to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.
  • Contributing to a wider mission to reimagine the English seaside experience, bringing innovation, creativity, and a fresh approach to the coast.
