Amber Mace is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Advisors at Horsham. Our client provides effective service and advice on work related issues and health surveillance programmes. The role is site based at Horsham, with flexibility for home working (i.e. 2 days on site, 3 days at home, or 3 days/2 days). They are offering a competitive salary for the ideal candidate, who will be ambitious, self-motivated and confident. This position provides you with the opportunity of establishing your own area, networking with clients and being part of a market leading team in the UK.
Your role will include:
- You will conduct health surveillance and provide reports
- Provide fitness for work reports
- You will provide assessments and screening, reporting the outcomes in line with our clients procedures
- You will be responsible for case management, providing reports for the OH Managers when required
- Provide clear advice regarding health and wellbeing
- Create risk assessments and report appropriately if required
- Assist with providing preventative strategies
- Conduct pre-placement reviews, and fitness for work reports when required.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse, NMC registered
- You must hold a valid NMC Pin
- For this position, you are required to hold an Occupational Health Qualification (degree/diploma), with previous OH experience, particularly case management and health surveillance
- Understanding of OH and employment legislation
