Location: Hybrid working - site in Ipswich (2/3 days per week)

Rate: £450 P/day OUTSIDE IR35

Duration: 6 months initial with view to extend

Rullion are currently supporting a major Energy Engineering company in search for a Quality Manager to support on one of their major long term projects.

Role Summary

The role of the QMiP is to advise the Project Director/Senior Project Manager in expediting quality assurance on the project(s). The QMIP is also responsible for managing and/or monitoring the quality resource on the project. The QMiP is the subject matter expert and should assist in the planning of all key quality activity across the life cycle of the project. It is also important that the QMIP has the expressed authority to intervene at any stage in the project if proceedings could have a negative impact on the project. The QMiP should report directly to the Senior Project Manager and/or the Project Director on the project for that reason. They act as a member of the core project management team. In regard to functional matters, the reporting line is additionally to the sub-divisional or divisional Head of Quality of the project related business (HQ).

Experience

  • Substantial experience (Typically 5 years+) in a senior operational quality position such as a quality manager working in a project office environment
  • Substantial experience of dealing at all levels across a project
  • Substantial experience of working in highly regulated industries
  • Substantial experience of working in a matrix organisation assisting in the delivery of large infrastructure projects
