NHS Supply Chain currently has an exciting opportunity for a Governance & Reporting Analyst to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first. We are in the process of moving to a multi vendor IT delivery model and in the role of Governance & Reporting Analyst, you will have the opportunity to join our IT Change Office team to help define and manage our processes for commissioning IT change and managing the top level IT change portfolio.

Every day you will …

  • Bring stakeholders together from across the business and our IT suppliers.
  • Carry out analysis on the IT pipeline of work and produce insight for key stakeholders.
  • Work as part of a team to identify portfolio level constraints, across topics like resourcing and release slots, and bring together interested parties to resolve any conflicts.
  • Manage change requests coming through the IT pipeline from request to quotation and ensure that they meet our internal standards as they move through the process.
  • Support the initial building of the IT Change Office processes and own the continuous review and improvement of these processes.
  • Produce key reporting for stakeholder groups and forums around the performance of the IT Change Office.
  • Support the rollout and embed the IT Change Office processes with wider business stakeholders and provide help and guidance to people as required.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a PMO role, specifically focused on governance management.
  • Previous experience of managing IT providers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to inform and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and the ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks.
  • A good understanding of the relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
