We’re looking for Locum Clinical Pharmacists to join our small but exceptional Care Team. This role will report into a Clinical Team Lead and is at a rate of £40 per hour, with a minimum commitment of 3 days and 24 hours at least. This role is ideal for those looking for flexibility and remote work!

Suvera is a tech start-up transforming healthcare with a mission to keep people in good health, wherever they are. Partnering with UK general practices, we deliver a smart, scalable virtual clinic that supports patients with long-term conditions. Today, we manage over 100,000 patients with plans to double this by 2026.
What you’ll be doing:
- Play a key role in our Care team, providing specialist pharmaceutical support to patients that Suvera is supporting via our NHS Partners.
- Carry out reviews for patients with long term conditions within your clinical competencies and provide specialist support to patients.
- Work across multiple partner organisations, with a predominantly patient-facing element including chronic disease management, repeat prescription management and structured medication reviews.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Collect and record patients’ health data in a holistic manner.
- Interpret, risk stratification, and management of this data in line with standard operating procedures and NICE guidelines.
- Provide evidence-based lifestyle advice.
- Prescribe/alter medications for patients with LTCs.
Non-Clinical Responsibilities:
- Maintain a regard for patient safety and dignity.
- Build and maintain trust with patients.
- Maintain contemporaneous clinical notes within Suvera’s and GP Partners systems.
- Be proactively involved in Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF).
- Undertake other administrative duties where reasonably required.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 12 months experience as a clinical pharmacist within an NHS Primary Care setting.
- Is a current member of a medical professional defence organisation.
- Is an independent prescriber and has completed a GPhC-accredited course/or equivalent.
- Is currently registered with the GPC and acts at all times within the boundaries of its code of Professional Conduct.
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Is confident in communicating with patients via their preferred communication channel which could include email, messaging, telephone, or video calls.
- Is IT literate, and able to work with a variety of software systems, including but not limited to Emis Web, SystmOne, Microsoft Office.
- Is confident in managing conditions such as Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes, Asthma, Lipids, Structured Medication Reviews, Frailty, CKD.
