We\’re looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer (SCADA) with a passion for developing systems that deliver value. A full UK Driving Licence with the ability to travel is a must, with some stays away from home. We anticipate that the role will be split between time working at customer sites across the UK and Europe (60% of the time) and at our office in Leeds (40% of the time). You’ll be responsible for taking our existing software platform and transforming it into a fully-fledged SCADA system, tailored to meet the needs of our growing client base. Within this role, you’ll have the chance to develop a system for some of the most exciting clients in the industry, taking full ownership of the SCADA system, giving you full responsibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact. It’s imperative that the Software Engineer is someone who is comfortable and confident in a customer-facing role; working and collaborating with clients from initial enquiry and sales through to commissioning. Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of our Software system, using Siemens TIA Portal and SIMATIC technologies including WinCC Unified. Own the full lifecycle of PLC, HMI and SCADA development, from initial concept to deployment. Ensure the system delivers high-value solutions to our customers, with an emphasis on efficiency and innovation. Collaborate with our industry-leading clients to implement and enhance the system across our growing client base. Assist with on-site customer demonstrations and trials. Assist on other engineers\’ projects or customer breakdowns. Requirements Strong demonstrable experience of PLC Programming is essential. Experience with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, Siemens TIA Portal essential. An engineer with experience in building and deploying systems, looking to take the next step in their career. Someone who thrives in a hands-on, development-focused role with the opportunity for growth. Ideally degree qualified or working towards degree qualifications or HNC in electrical engineering or a completed apprenticeship in Engineering. A self-starter who is eager to add value to customers and contribute to the growth of the business.
