Our client, a leading design and supply company, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the company's commitment to sustainability and high-quality service delivery.

Position Overview

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the company's success by accurately estimating project costs, ensuring profitability, and contributing to the company's sustainability goals. You will work closely with the End Users, Contractors, and suppliers to prepare detailed estimates and quotations for various building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse tender documentation, including drawings and technical documents, to prepare accurate estimates
  • Consult with subcontractors and suppliers to discuss estimates and resolve any issues
  • Communicate with potential customers, colleagues, and suppliers to arrange site visits and measures
  • Submit tenders and quotations, and clearly hand over successful projects to the construction team

Requirements

  • Experience in managing projects in a similar industry
  • Good working knowledge of estimating, contract conditions, regulations, program and risk management, and cost control
  • Previous experience in estimating
  • Ability to prioritise work to ensure tasks are completed within time constraints
  • IT proficient
