An Interior Designer job is available with a design consultancy working on stadia and retail projects offering up to £40,000.

This strategy driven design practice specialises in retail and hospitality projects. They are now looking for an Interior Designer to join their Edinburgh team and work on retail projects within sports stadia and venues. The successful candidate will be working on exciting UK and international projects across all stages.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Complete project design tasks through from concept to delivery
  • Attend client and site meetings (travel will be required on occasion)
  • Complete detailed working drawings and specifications
  • Create mood boards and design presentations
  • Assist in the development of concept proposals
  • Manage workload to meet deadlines
  • Work closely with wider project team
  • Report on project progress to the Design Director.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in either Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required
  • Minimum of 3 years' UK experience working on retail projects through all stages
  • Knowledge of Vectorworks is preferred
  • Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and Enscape
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of retail strategy and customer flow.
