Our client is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their busy team in their Petersfield office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused solicitor to play a key role in providing expert legal services within a friendly and supportive team environment.
Key Areas of Focus:
- Wills drafting
- Probate administration
- Court of Protection / Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
- Tax planning and advice
- Trust set up and administration
- Limited contentious probate work
Duties will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
- Providing advice on Wills, Probate and Estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and Trusts.
- Demonstrating a compassionate and sensitive approach when dealing with elderly or incapacitated clients.
- Proactively networking and marketing to generate new business and enhance the firm's reputation.
- Maintaining good billing records and meeting targets within the team.
Experience of contentious probate work is desirable but not essential.
Desired skills:
- Fee earning experience essential within Private Client with at least 1 years PQE +.
- Proven track record of achieving targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- STEP qualification desired but not essential.
- Business development and networking skills.
