About the Role
Our client is looking for a HR Advisor to join their well established team. This is a pivotal role supporting the success of their people practices. As an HR Advisor, you'll lead and support a wide range of HR functions across the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance, and training. You'll be a trusted advisor for managers and staff, ensuring consistent and values-led HR support.
Who You'll Work With
You’ll collaborate closely with:
- Senior Managers and the Operations Team
- Finance, Governance, and staff across all locations
Externally, you'll liaise with:
- HR consultants, training providers, contractors
- Local authorities and other relevant stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
- Manage monthly payroll preparation and ensure accurate data is submitted
- Maintain and update HR systems and records
- Support training needs analysis, coordination and delivery
- Advise on employee relations matters, supporting managers through the process
- Monitor and update HR policies, keeping them aligned with current legislation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and internal communications
- Work with managers on contractual changes, ensuring all documentation and payroll updates are in place
- Support and, where appropriate, lead on HR initiatives and projects aligned with the annual operating plan
- Manage HR reporting, including turnover, absence, retention and engagement metrics
- Organise internal HR events including staff conferences, internships, and career fairs
- Assist with internal health & safety coordination

About You
Knowledge & Qualifications
- CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice
- Proficient in using HR systems and general IT platforms

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar HR advisory role
- Experience in the third sector or hospitality/retail sector is a plus
- Practical experience delivering training or workshops
