We are looking for a hands-on Garage Equipment Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established and respected business in the automotive garage equipment sector. This is a field-based role working across the UK, installing, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive air conditioning machines. You will also play a key part in supporting our clients with day-to-day technical issues, carrying out assessments, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on-site.
What you will be doing:
- Installing and servicing a wide range of automotive air conditioning machines and other pieces of Garage Equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment on-site for customers across the UK
- Managing stock levels on your van and reordering parts when required
- Communicating with customers, offering excellent service and promoting ongoing maintenance solutions
- Reporting to management on work completed, customer feedback, and technical issues
- Undertaking training to become an F-Gas Assessor, enabling you to carry out F-Gas assessments for garages nationwide
- Occasionally staying overnight depending on project locations and workload
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years experience with service or install of AC Machines.
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when necessary
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Comfortable using basic IT (tablets, service forms, etc.) training can be provided if needed
- Own basic hand tools (specialist tools provided)
