We're working with a leading global consultancy known for delivering large-scale transformation programmes across finance and technology. They’re currently seeking an experienced SAP FPSL Functional Consultant to support the implementation of SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) in a complex, multi-source system landscape within the banking/financial services sector.
The focus of the role will be on IFRS 9 accounting rules, event-based accounting models, and financial integration. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure the FPSL framework meets regulatory and business requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience with SAP FPSL in banking or financial services (preferred).
- Strong understanding of IFRS 9, subledger accounting, and financial instruments.
- Experience integrating FPSL with multiple source systems.
- Knowledge of ledger setup, account determination, and reporting structures.
- Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-GAAP environments.
- Background in treasury and risk management is advantageous.
- SAP FPSL certification (or earlier versions like SAP Bank Analyser, Smart AFI) is a plus.
