The predicted salary is between 38000 - 53000 £ per year.

Up to £44,446 per annum with the option to access our flexible benefits scheme, with a top salary of up to £53,882 per annum (37 hours per week/52 weeks per year).

51 days paid holiday per year. Membership of the Teachers Pension Scheme. Other pension and holiday options are available under a flexible benefits package.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Construction team at Chesterfield College, delivering education and training from the Construction Skills Hub located at Mastin Moor. The Construction Skills Hub will also provide a practical platform for construction training, careers activity, and work experience.

The new team member will be required to teach on a range of programmes from Levels 1 to 2 in multi-skill construction courses in both workshops and classroom environments. Applicants should have at least a Level 2 qualification in an associated trade (Brickwork, Plastering, Joinery, or Painting and Decorating) and varied experience working in the Construction Industry.

The successful candidate will have a passion for their subject and a desire to train the next generation of construction workers. Possession of a teacher training qualification would also be an advantage, as would a relevant assessor award. However, a willingness to work towards these qualifications would be acceptable.
