Are you an experienced Claims Adjuster looking to take on a fresh challenge in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We are working on behalf of a market-leading Syndicate to find an enthusiastic and proactive professional to join their established Claims team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of claims processes, vendor relationships, and product wording from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of claims of varying complexity within delegated authority levels, in line with internal claims procedures and service standards.
- Maintain accurate claims records and updates through relevant systems (e.g., ECF, DOCOsoft).
- Support the Cyber Underwriting team in developing claims protocols and establishing a vendor panel.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of product wording and claims handling processes.
- Provide clear and timely communication to underwriters and stakeholders on claims trends and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with brokers, third-party experts, and clients.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a high-performing claims culture.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the team.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a technical claims role, ideally within the London Market.
- Familiarity with market systems such as ECF and a good understanding of market processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- A team player who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively, working both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- ACII qualification or working towards it (preferred but not essential).
