Job Purpose / Summary: Join our elite team as a Systems Engineer, shaping cutting-edge solutions for both military and commercial applications in the dynamic field of niche gas monitoring. As a key player, you'll harness your skills to design and innovate across various domains, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC, tackling projects that span from tracking emissions from cows to monitoring submarine atmospheres and beyond. Main Responsibilities / Key Tasks:

  • Design systems that meet the customer's requirements ensuring that selected parts are suitable for the life of the system in the environment they will be used.
  • Maintain regular contact with the customer and complete customer facing design reviews and testing as required.
  • Create test documentation and complete customer FAT. Travel to site to complete set to work with the customer.
  • Work with the ILS engineer to produce through life support documentation for internal and external use and liaise with customer support & documentation teams to ensure that suitable training materials are produced.
  • Consultancy with external suppliers when subcontracting design and build.
  • Complete on site work including surveys, commissioning and testing.
