About the Role: They are looking for a hand illustrator with a passion for drawing and watercolour painting to join our dynamic creative team. This is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity to contribute to seasonal fashion collections and various creative projects within a prestigious luxury brand. You will be interpreting briefs into beautiful, high-quality artworks while adhering to the house's distinct style. If you thrive under pressure, have a keen eye for detail, and are adaptable to evolving creative visions, we want to hear from you. Please note that this is not a DIGITAL illustration role
Key Responsibilities:
- Illustration: Transform briefs into compelling, on-brand visual stories.
- Visual Research: Conduct in-depth research based on cultural themes, references, or specific design concepts.
- Brand Evolution: Contribute to the development of the brand's illustration style and overall visual identity.
- Creative Experimentation: Explore and experiment with various media such as crayons, gouache, airbrush, and more to innovate and elevate designs.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide illustrations for fashion sketches, hand-drawn graphics, embroidery designs, and more.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Lead Creatives, Art Directors, Illustrators, and other teams to ensure cohesive visual outputs.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, or related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years in an in-house or agency design role.
- Skills & Characteristics: Exceptional observational skills with an eye for detail.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates high-quality execution in traditional media.
- Ability to adapt and collaborate with a team, taking and acting on constructive feedback.
- Deep understanding of the luxury design market.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
