North Air is responsible for providing into-plane services on behalf of major oil companies. We operate at 20 locations across the UK, where we carry out approximately 300,000 fuelling’s per year. We aim to provide safe, reliable and efficient into-plane services to our customers' satisfaction.

Salary & Benefits: £40,000 - £44,000 basic + 7.5% bonus (OTE £50,000+) plus company van.

Your Role: Maintain our fleet of aircraft refuelling vehicles (7.5t to 44,000ltr) through planned and reactive maintenance, commissioning new vehicles, and ensuring safety and stock management. You'll collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, Manager and stakeholders, conduct fuel quality checks, and manage your training and coaching. This role operates on a Sunday to Saturday schedule.

Skills & Experience:

  • Essential:
  • 2+ years post-apprenticeship HGV mechanic experience
  • Recognised HGV maintenance & repair qualification or similar
  • Strong teamwork and organisational skills; ability to work independently to deadlines and manage workload
  • Safety awareness
  • Clean criminal record and checkable work history (for airside pass)
  • Desirable:
    • HGV Class 1 or 2 (C+E) Licence
    • ADR/CPC Qualification
    • Permit to Work knowledge
    • Practical understanding of vehicle pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
    • Familiarity with computerised Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)
    • Understanding of Engineering Management of Change and Control of Work principles
