The Role: This role is a 12 month FTC providing professional project management activities required to deliver assigned initiatives/projects that directly implement or contribute towards Cornerstone’s business objectives. Covering the Passive Infrastructure primarily focusing on the requirement to provide temporary power to Cornerstone assets. Involves working across multiple projects and stakeholders and disciplines at any one time to ensure power supplies are maintained to the asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage temporary power solutions by working with all stakeholders to recover the Passive and Active elements as quickly as possible.
  • Plan the assigned project capturing scope, objectives, and risks, as well as garnering the support of all key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain project plans and records against which the project is managed and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manage the impact of change within the project and on the project plans in terms of scope, timescales, costs & quality ensuring that the impacts are clearly understood and sanctioned by key stakeholders.
  • Manage project delivery volumes by drawing from the relevant functions and areas of expertise within Cornerstone, its suppliers and shareholders that collectively delivers the project.
  • Manage all key stakeholders and stakeholder groups who are connected to the delivery of the project to ensure expectations are met, critical decisions are made, risks/key dependencies and requirements are addressed, and project delivery progress is clearly understood.
  • Support Cornerstone Reactive Team on generator issues so that supplier issues and faults are promptly addressed.
  • Report against targeted delivery and maintain tools and systems in line with project/delivery plans to demonstrate progress to stakeholders.
  • Actively chase through removals plans so that deployment durations are kept to minimum keeping stakeholders up to date with forecast removal dates.
  • Support with Finance queries relating to the project so that Cornerstone billing deadlines are met.
  • Promote a culture of safety first so that all planned work is carried out free from the risk of harm.

  • Good relationship builder with ability to build trust through effective management of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise communication skills at all levels of the business.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, ability to prepare plans and anticipate change.
  • Strong data manipulation and reporting skills.
  • Focused single mindedness and diligence in overcoming problems and delivering business outcomes – completer/finisher mentality.
  • Prince2.
  • Any experience working in an electrically focused role or generator management role, including fault assessment, root cause analysis.
