This role will involve managing the day to day operations, managing some key clients and providing leadership to the team as well as working to deadlines and ensuring organisation is key. This friendly team has a wonderful culture and they are ready to welcome a new highly motivated Practice Accounts Manager to this growing Accountancy Practice.
Job Description for the Practice Accounts Manager role:
- To effectively supervise and mentor the team
- To develop the team and offer guidance and support on client work or in professional development
- To conduct performance reviews with the team
- Managing a small portfolio of key clients
- To build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering a bespoke service to meet their needs
- To regularly communicate with clients regarding their needs and requirements
- To oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns etc to ensure they are compliant with current regulations
- Review work completed by junior team members to ensure quality
- To advise clients on accounts, tax and business matters, such as tax planning
