Our Manufacturing Client requires an Electrician/Electrical Engineer (Salary to 40K - No Travel) who can test and commission panels, or adopt a panel builder role. You will troubleshoot and carry out improvements using testing equipment whilst enjoying a well-paid workshop-based role. Candidates who prefer local travel are considered for other roles.
The Role:
- Carry out Quality Assurance / QA using testing equipment within a busy environment
- Diagnose electrical faults to minimise downtime and create efficiencies
- Read & interpret electrical drawings
- Oversee testing operations
The Person:
- You will have 2 or more years in an Electrician, Panel Builder or Electrical Test Engineer role
- Experience using testing equipment/installations or panel building
- Strong understanding of schematics/electrical drawings, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
- Good problem-solving skills - understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement advantageous
