The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Authorised HV Cable Jointer required to join organisation working on DNO, private network and rail projects. Ideally based in the South East (Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire) but willing to work away when required, the Cable Jointer will hold relevant and in-date authorisations and perform the following duties:

  • Install, joint, terminate, repair and maintain HV cables
  • Inspect cable joints to ensure quality of work and compliance with industry standards
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Locate and identify cable faults
  • Carry out cable tests - insulation, voltage, sheath, phasing and pressure
  • Adhere to safe working practices at all times
  • Work with colleagues to identify issues and come up with solutions
  • Keep a record of completed works

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Authorised HV Cable Jointer (11kV, 33kV, DNO, private network, ICP etc)
  • Excellent teamworking, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Track record of safe working in the industry
  • Driving licence
