Are you a hands-on Process Engineer who cares about continuous improvement? Would you like to work for a business that is committed to sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint? On a daily basis your role will be to collaborate closely with the technical team and machine operators to understand and enhance the full processes used to transform raw materials into finished goods. Ensuring efficient operations, quality control, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Working at the Hamilton plant, you will be developing new technologies and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Your Responsibilities as a Process Engineer:

  • Develop processes and improvements while monitoring capability and process.
  • Root cause analysis solving quality, technical and safety concerns.
  • Make improvements to increase capacity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the shift leaders to write the training programs for operators, including flow charts.
  • Identify where production productivity can be made and implement changes.
  • Preparation and modification of production procedures.

Skills required to be a Process Engineer:

  • Mechanical Qualification – Minimum of a level 4.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of LEAN in manufacturing practices.
  • A solid understanding of 5 WHY, root cause analysis.
  • Six Sigma knowledge would also be desirable.

Benefits to you of this Process Engineer’s role:

  • Monday – Friday.
  • Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 17.00 pm.
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (This rises after two years of service).
  • Paid Overtime if required.
  • Company Pension.
  • Private Healthcare benefits.
