A well-respected and recognised Legal 200 law firm is looking for a skilled Trusts and Tax Professional to join their successful private client team. With a strong reputation for excellence, this firm offers high-quality work, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth. Specialising in trust creation, administration, tax, and estate planning, this role is ideal for professionals seeking stability and future career development.
The role
- Advise clients on the benefits and tax implications of various trust structures
- Handle the creation, variation, and termination of trusts
- Manage trust administration, taxation, and compliance with the Trust Registration Service
- Prepare Inheritance, Income, and Capital Gains Tax Returns
- Work closely with trustees and beneficiaries, organising meetings and overseeing compliance
What they are looking for:
- Either a 2-3 years PQE Solicitor/Lawyer or relevant working experience in trusts and tax as listed above, from either a legal, accounting or specialist trust & tax admin firm.
- Strong knowledge of trust creation and taxation
- Probate and estate experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commitment to marketing activities, including writing articles and attending events
- Commercial acumen and a proactive mindset.
