SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a key member of DHR’s Research & Recruiting function, the Associate will be responsible for working with Partners to fully understand client requirements for the executive search. Associates are responsible for working together with Senior Associates+ and Partners to develop efficient, effective, and creative strategies. Associates are expected to maintain a workload of 4-6 net searches, though there may be occasions when more are required.
- The scope of work is to assist other Research team members & Partners in the firm in the development of assignment research and candidate development. They will initiate first-round candidate contact, network with referral sources and effectively and persuasively communicate the opportunity to contacted individuals.
- Following initial contact, the Associate must be capable of assessing the potential candidate's qualifications against the approved specification. They must also communicate search status on a timely basis to active candidates.
- Successful Associates are able to quickly deliver qualified candidates for review by the Partner with minimal day-to-day direction. Although Associates are principally responsible for initiating contact with candidates, they will have additional client and candidate interaction.
- Specific deliverables that Associates develop while working on assignments with senior executives in the firm include:
- The Search Strategy for the Assignment; this is typically in conjunction with another research team member and/or Partner.
- Individual candidate profiles and reports.
- Search status reports tracking each candidate’s capabilities and interest as the search progresses.
- Finalist candidate reviews, references, and background checks.
- Staying current with industry business trends and awareness around industry news/updates/operations.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

The Successful Candidate will have:
- Minimum 1-3 years of work experience. Ideally, this is in a sales, recruitment, or research function.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and detailed planning and project management skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize activities in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong listening skills and an ability to interpret information.
- The ability to develop strong relationships to build personal networks within diverse industries.
- Experience in delivering high-quality internal and external client service.
- Experience working in a team environment, with the ability to partner with colleagues while working independently.
- A high level of integrity and professionalism, with strong attention to detail.
- A high degree of comfort in communicating with senior-level executives.
- Outstanding database and Internet research skills and a broad knowledge of business information sources.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
TRAVEL & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position involves remote work, with quarterly meetings at the company’s London Victoria office.
- The Associate should be self-motivated and have a professional workspace at home, including a strong internet connection and a quiet place to work.
- This position may require occasional early morning and late evening working hours.
