We're hiring a Nursery SENCO in Harrogate (Part-Time) for 3 days a week on a fixed 12-month contract from 8am-6pm. Pay is dependent on experience in a Montessori & Forest School setting.

About the Role:
- Morning focus: Supporting children either in-room or on a 1:1 basis
- Afternoon focus: SEN admin and coordination duties from the office
- Working hours: 8am-6pm
- Work in a unique setting that blends Montessori principles and Forest School ethos
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, support, and review the needs of children with SEND
- Develop and implement targeted support strategies
- Work closely with key staff, parents/carers, and external professionals
- Maintain accurate records, EHCP paperwork, and support plans
- Promote an inclusive, child-centred environment where all children can flourish
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified and experienced SENCO (Level 3 SENCO or working towards)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, SEND Code of Practice, and early intervention strategies
- Excellent organisational, communication, and observation skills
- A warm, flexible, and supportive approach to working with children and families
- Passion for nature-based, exploratory learning is a big plus!
