The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is a broad finance opportunity for an accountant with insurance and/or reinsurance experience to join a small MGA operation as they continue to grow. This broad role is being hired initially on a six months FTC but has real potential to go longer term as the company continues their expansion.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Production of the monthly management accounts for the UK entity
- Preparation of the technical and non-technical trial balance including review of financial data, general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L
- Supporting with analysis of financial and management information
- Production of the client money calculations
- Reporting on both credit control and cash flow positions
- Assisting with the preparation of financial data for external parties including rating agencies
- Support on a variety of finance transformation projects
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with direct experience of working within the re/insurance market (broker, MGA or carrier). You will be available at short notice and along with your strong accounting skills will also be a strong communicator.
