The Governors and Headteacher seek to appoint a forward-thinking, effective, and efficient Assistant Library Manager. The individual appointed will support the Library Manager with the development and maintenance of resources to support the curriculum across the school. They will play a pivotal role in the effective and smooth running of the Sixth Form Library, ensuring that all day-to-day duties are managed to an excellent standard.
The applicant should be a proven team leader who is resilient and confident in decision-making. The individual will be innovative and able to work under pressure, will possess an eye for detail, and will be able to motivate others. This position deals with a wide mix of people and therefore requires strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a sound working knowledge of the latest library computer programmes and experience of following policies and procedures.
