Job Summary:

The Production Chef plays a crucial role in the preparation and production of high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards. This role requires efficiency, consistency, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and assemble dishes according to standardised recipes and portion controls.

  • Ensure food is produced in a timely manner while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and production areas.

  • Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.

  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO method).

  • Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures as per HACCP and company guidelines.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Senior Production Chef.

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or food production role.

  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and HACCP guidelines.

  • Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Culinary qualification or training preferred.
