Production and Senior Production Chef

Job Summary:
The Production Chef plays a crucial role in the preparation and production of high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards. This role requires efficiency, consistency, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and assemble dishes according to standardised recipes and portion controls.

Ensure food is produced in a timely manner while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and production areas.

Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.

Ensure proper labelling, storage, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO method).

Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures as per HACCP and company guidelines.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Senior Production Chef.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet production targets.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or food production role.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and HACCP guidelines.

Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures accurately.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Culinary qualification or training preferred.
