Reed Talent Professionals are supporting a world leading media services organisation based in Manchester, in the search for a Human Resources Business Partner / HRBP to join their People Services team to contribute to their mission of delivering exceptional HR services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex structures and is skilled in fostering strong relationships and driving process improvements. The role is hybrid (2 days per week in the office).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as an internal consultant, focusing on key activities required by the Division.
- Manage and grow key relationships within the business and the wider HR Team to ensure swift and accurate responses to support requests.
- Proactively handle complex queries and support issues, ensuring they are resolved or managed appropriately.
- Maintain visibility within the HR and wider business environment to understand the Division's needs and business leaders' priorities.
- Focus on continuous improvement, taking accountability for developing solutions or proposing options to enhance processes.
- Collaborate across the Divisional team and/or People Services to promote a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
- Represent the People Services function, advocating for our digital and self-service approaches and raising its profile within the business.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of people solutions and identify areas for further improvement.
- Foster a culture of service excellence, role-modelling and coaching the team to deliver customer-focused solutions and manage expectations effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience as an HR Advisor or Business Partner, ideally within complex or matrix organisations.
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills with strong influencing and persuading capabilities.
- Analytical skills with the ability to tackle logistically complex problems and identify trends that inform decision-making.
- Experience in using IT tools and systems effectively.
- Ability to foster team spirit and encourage shared ownership of objectives and deliverables.
- Commitment to embodying and being a role model for organisational values.
- Proficiency in using process improvement tools and their application.
- Capability to build productive and meaningful relationships within the business and across HR teams.
