T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative automotive manufacturing business who focus on powertrain development to help them to recruit a Graduate to join their Test and Development team.

As a Graduate in the Test and Development team, you would be responsible for testing, developing and contributing to the overall delivery of powertrain systems for a variety of applications, predominantly focussing on projects within the motorsports and automotive sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out performance and reliability tests in order to validate powertrains and powertrain components.
  • Operating test rigs and ensuring tests are run efficiently and right first time.
  • Log issues found during testing and communicate to wider team to ensure resolution of all identified issues.
  • Work closely with more Senior team members around the interpretation and analysis of the data produced by tests.
  • To write reports and document/present data to the wider team and clients to confirm that products meet predetermined specified requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject (motorsport engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) essential.
  • A genuine interest or experience of Powertrain Engineering essential.
  • Experience testing electrical powertrain or ICE powertrain components desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills essential.
