The Role:
We are working with a leading UK supplier of industrial flow control solutions to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager. This is a field-based role covering the whole of England, where you’ll be responsible for managing existing accounts and driving new business growth across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, process, utilities, energy, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across the region
- Identify new sales opportunities within your territory and convert them into long-term clients
- Work closely with internal technical and customer support teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Promote a wide range of valves, actuated valves, instrumentation, and flow control systems
- Deliver product demonstrations and provide on-site technical advice when required
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to quotation, negotiation, and close
- Attend trade shows, customer visits, and networking events to raise brand awareness
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven sales experience within the industrial engineering or process industries
- Background in selling valves, fittings, flow control equipment, or associated products
- Ability to work independently, manage your own diary, and deliver on sales targets
- Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
