Our client is expanding their Private Client team and is seeking an experienced STEP Qualified Solicitor to head up and grow this exciting new department.

The Opportunity
This is a unique leadership role for a senior solicitor who wants to make a real impact. You’ll be instrumental in developing and shaping the firm’s Private Client department—from overseeing a growing caseload to building a high-performing team of professionals. You’ll have the autonomy to lead with vision while being supported by a dynamic and collaborative legal environment.
Role Overview
As Head of Private Client, you will:
- Lead and grow the Private Client team, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
- Handle a full range of private client matters, including:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Court of Protection
- Trusts
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a solicitor with:
- STEP qualification (or working towards it).
- At least 10 years’ PQE.
- Demonstrated experience in wills, probate, estate planning, and related matters.
- A proven ability to manage a varied caseload from start to finish.
- Leadership experience or a strong desire to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
