Our client is a DfE-accredited, Ofsted-outstanding training company providing apprenticeships, professional development and the DfE’s ‘Golden Thread’ (trainee teachers to school Executive Leaders). The company strongly believes that every child should benefit from an excellent education regardless of their background. The company is looking for an experienced sales professional to step into the Head of Sales role. In this role, you’ll be responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing the performance of multiple teams to hit the company's annual targets. Additionally, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies. You will need to be comfortable setting monthly and quarterly sales targets and effectively driving the teams to achieve.
Stay informed about company policies and recruitment strategies. Utilize Excel, Power BI, CCRM, and SPIRIT to create meaningful reports and data that support the department and highlight our status to stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members. Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to proactively seek new partner organizations and opportunities, expanding the program's offerings.

Proven track record of managing the sales process from planning to closing. Proven experience in sales, recruitment, or apprenticeships. Knowledge of apprenticeships. Strong mentoring, coaching, and people management skills. Excellent time management skills to maximize the ability to reach goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner. Exceptional sales, marketing, and networking skills.
