Job Description\\n\\nCloud Architect\\n\\nRemote working\\n\\nFull Time – 37.5 hours per week\\n\\nWe are seeking to optimise our established Cloud deployment, built on Azure, to provide an AI-augmented agile cloud platform that responds quickly to demand from service users, making it “easy to do business” with Ramsay – for patients, clinicians and partners. Working alongside colleagues in our “Digital & Technology” function, along with trusted partners in the infrastructure, data, integration, and AI spaces, you will have great opportunities to lead and shape the future of Ramsay.\\n\\nThe role\\n\\nAs Cloud Architect, you will maintain the cloud platform and the roadmaps of adding new cloud capabilities and collaborate with the business on the adoption of solution designs servicing both clinical and technology areas using cloud platform services and tools.\\n\\nWhat you will do\\n\\nGovern and manage the cloud architecture for all existing and new services and/or platforms\\n\\nDesign and build end-to-end cloud architectures.\\n\\nReduce the “time to market” for business initiatives to providing digital technology solutions based on native (Azure) commoditised cloud services and capabilities\\n\\nUnderstand and recommend utilisation of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS and SaaS) based on business requirements to simplify business application architecture and operating models.\\n\\nWhat you will bring\\n\\nYou will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the “Azure cloud adoption” and “Azure well-architected” frameworks and possess prior experience of scaled cloud migration datacentre exit programmes.\\n\\nKnowledge of architecture models, principles and standards (TOGAF, Zachman), project management (waterfall, agile) and service management (ITIL) lifecycle is essential however Azure cloud certification and exposure to cloud providers (AWS, Azure), service models, diverse technical configurations, technologies and cloud platform services is preferred.\\n\\nExperience with the following is highly desirable:\\n\\nInfrastructure as Code (Bicep), CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Version Control (Git), Scripting (PowerShell, and Azure CLI), and Automation (PowerAutomate).\\n\\nEntra ID user accounts, groups, app registrations, single sign-on, managed identities, role-based access control, connect, B2B sync, and multi-tenant management.\\n\\nHub and spoke virtual network topologies, virtual WAN, secured hubs with Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN, and Network Virtual Appliances (Meraki SD-WAN).\\n\\nFront Door and Web Application Firewall, including custom domains and DNS, origin groups, origins, compression, caching, log inspection, and exception management.\\n\\nApp Services (Web, API, Container, Function, Logic, Static), API Management, Service Bus, Databases (SQL, MySQL), Key Vault, Storage Account, and Application Insights.\\n\\nData Factory, Databricks (Unity Catalog, SCIM Provisioning, Permissions, Delta Sharing, multi-workspace management), Storage Account (Data Lake), and PowerBI.\\n\\nVirtual Machines, Bastion, Flow Logging, Log Analytics Workspaces, Event Hub, Diagnostic settings, Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Private Endpoints.\\n\\nAzure AI Services.\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\n25 Days Leave + Bank Holidays\\n\\nBuy & Sell Flexi Leave Options\\n\\nPrivate Pension where Ramsay will match up to 5% after a qualifying period\\n\\nEnhanced Competitive Parental Leave Policies\\n\\nPrivate Medical Cover with option to add partner & dependants\\n\\nLife Assurance (Death in Service) x3 base salary\\n\\nFree Training and Development via the Ramsay Academy\\n\\nConcerts for Carers\\n\\nEmployee Assistance Programme\\n\\nCycle2Work scheme available, in partnership with Halfords\\n\\nThe Blue Light Card Scheme\\n\\nAbout us\\n\\nRamsay Health Care UK is a well-established global hospital group with over 50 years’ experience.
