Engage Talent Partners are working with our Great Yarmouth based client to recruit for a Cable Technician. Our client is a global provider of Subsea equipment, supplying to a variety of sectors including oil and gas and renewables. This is an exciting time to join the company as they continue to grow, offering ample opportunities for career development.
Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Wiring, termination and moulding of cables and connectors to a very high standard in a fast-paced environment
- Interpretation of wiring diagrams to complete tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Correct use of electrical test equipment
- Preparation of materials and parts used in cable manufacturing following company procedures
- Inspection of cables and report generation following company procedures
- Continue to build and expand knowledge of cable and connector types and processes
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to observe and promote safe working practices
Applicants must have previous experience in soldering, cable and connector manufacturing with experience interpreting wiring diagrams.
