Job Role: Sewing Machinist Location: Sheffield Salary: £11.44ph – £12.00ph Metalis are working with a prestigious manufacturing company based in Sheffield, who due to production demands are looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join their busy shop floor. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Interpret manufacture sheets or drawing provides, cutting lengths from rolls to create width of curtain. Marking out joint position and fixing joint tapes. Use of hand and power tools. Taking measurements, sizes and quantities. Adhering to health and safety.Person Specification: Experience operating industrial sewing machines. Experience working from drawings.
