An excellent GP surgery in Oxford, which forms a big part of a successful PCN, is looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their phenomenal, diverse, and multi-disciplinary team on a minimum 3-month contract for 2 days per week, possibly more.

This purpose-built surgery, which has had a solid team for many years, is seeking to recruit a Practice Nurse with experience in GP Surgeries, to work either full or part-time starting from ASAP.

You will need to have all general practice nursing duties and ideally specialise in diabetes and initiate insulin. You will also be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as:

  • Health promotion
  • Chronic disease management
  • Health prevention
  • Supporting the management team

They score GOOD with CQC and have high QOF points and use Emis Web.

Requirements:

  • Practice Nurse on NMC
  • Diabetes Care
  • Postgraduate diploma or degree (Primary Care)
