Wise Employment are looking for a Production Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing company in Plymouth. This is a Permanent Full Time Opportunity, offering a competitive salary along with a wide variety of perks including:

Key Responsibilities: As a Production Design Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure new bearings are manufacturable.
- Develop and implement efficient production processes for new bearings.
- Create manufacturing plans, including bills of materials and production schedules.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks.
- Design and implement robust gauging solutions.
- Continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimize quality and efficiency.
To be successful you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably bearings or precision components).
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
- Experience with soft machining and hard machining processes is beneficial.
- CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
